The board of the Rotary Action Group for Peace, in view of recent events, declare that we stand in solidarity by working together to advance peace and prevent violence around our planet.

We hold that a peaceful world cannot be possible as long as there is no equality of treatment and respect for all humanity. We support the creation of sustainable systems, structures, and attitudes that elevate diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Throughout many places, people are denied their basic Human Rights, which we as members of the RAGFP declare to be contrary to the Universal Declaration on Human Rights.

As Rotarians and members of this group for peace, we pledge and promise to educate ourselves and our organization.

We invite all Rotarian Clubs and Districts around the world, to raise awareness by the elevation and commitment to concrete actions making this positive change a reality.

Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 2, signed by Rotarians around the world

“Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.”
