Catherine became a Rotarian, joining a local traditional club in Queensland in 2006 to coincide with enrolling at the University of Queensland in Peace Studies with the Rotary Peace Fellows. The RPF remains her Rotary focus and has included her appointment as a Reader of the RPF applications since 2017 for the Rotary Foundation. Catherine believes the Fellowship is yet to gain the recognition it deserves in Rotary and would welcome the opportunity to increase their membership and contribution to the RAGFP.

Catherine has held directorships in International Service, Administration, website administration and public relations and President of a traditional club as well as Charter Secretary for the Eclub of Social Innovators.  She held the office of Peace Chair in D9640 from 2008 and in D5240 from 2014 -2017.  She remains Advisor to both these district committees. and is now on D7090 Scholarship Committee.

Catherine regularly attends the Peace Fellowship annual seminar at University of Queensland. Catherine has attended a number of Rotary Conventions and Peace Conferences and presented on the Peacebuilder Club program she implemented in D5240 at the Peace Symposium Pune India, 2017.
