IT-MED-TRE — Integrated Training (in) – Mediation – Trough Rotarian Experts

Project Description

The project’s aim is to provide funding and support to allow up to 20 young graduates (with preference for Rotaract current or prospective Members) to follow rigorous formal training in Mediation and ADR in view of gaining knowledge, practical experience and a professional qualification to operate in the peace field as Mediators in Italy and the EU.

Formal training will be provided by Rotarian Members holding Professional Qualifications as Mediators and documented experience in teaching ADR subjects.

The syllabus provides an interdisciplinary approach to teaching the basics of professional (civil and business) mediation; unlike other training providers in the field besides the rigid training path designed by the Italy’s Ministry of Justice in order for the Partecipants to claim the right to work as a Mediator – which will be offered by CEM a registered ADR Training Organization – there will be offered several hours of training in personal awareness and capacity building through a week-end long Survival Course held by Green Energy Camp (an Italian Non Profit Organization active for decades in the filed) and formal attendance and partecipation to AiKiDo lessons provided by Ki-DoJo Firenze (another well established Non Profit Organization). Formal lessons will be followed by training on the field, through shadowing experienced mediators while they will be managing mediation proceedings.
