“When love is infused into our actions, we do not stop to question the time or money we are sacrificing. We are inspired to do more, to give more. Love is the motivating force behind all of Rotary’s best work.”

Cheering the children and supporting our communities is what the holidays are all about. The Rotary Club of Seattle’s Holiday Gift Drive is a wonderful example of how Rotarians partner with other community organizations to make a difference. The club collaborated with FareStart, an organization that helps people escape poverty by offering practical experience in the foodservice industry, and the Spruce Street Inn, a shelter for at-risk youth (ages 12-17) who are in crisis. These partnerships brought the community together and streamlined their efforts to bring joy, gifts and holiday cheer to the people of Seattle.  Read More

In Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, police officers were delighted to receive another generous donation of warm blankets from the Mt. Juliet Noon Rotary Club this year.

On a cold day in Oregon, over one-hundred Rotarians gathered with friends, family, (and their cute dogs), to join the Salvation Army at their Downtown Christmas Kettle.

(In the photo left) are RAGFP Executive Director, Reem Ghunaim, and RAGFP Member Deniel Banks, ringing bells for peace.

This holiday bell ringing is a tradition that the Rotary Club of Portland began in 1938, and it is the longest running Rotary charitable event.  Read More

End The Year with a Donation for Peace

Your donations allow RAGFP to empower Rotarians in peacebuilding world-wide.
Please give a generous donation to RAGFP this holiday season and help make 2018 a year of world peace!

RAGFP engages Rotarians in peacebuilding by providing a central place where peacebuilders find important tools and resources. We also connect Rotary’s various peace entities and help them raise the profile of peace within Rotary International and the general public.

RAGFP educates Rotarians, Rotary clubs and Rotary districts on the value of initiatives aimed at encouraging and supporting peace. We continually promote Rotary peace initiatives through our various platforms and networks.

RAGFP is Grateful for You

As 2017 draws to a close, we want to thank all of our members, supporters and subscribers. You helped RAGFP grow this year to include members in 71 countries around the world. We look forward to adding members in even more countries in 2018, and expanding our membership base in the great countries where our members already support RAGFP and build peace.

Here are some ideas of how you can support RAGFP membership:

– Set a goal to personally recruit a new RAGFP member as your very first peace action of 2018.

– Commit to emailing at least two Rotarians the Join RAGFP link and forwarding them our newsletter.

– Download our peacebuilding materials and start a peacebuilder club in your Rotary club or district.

– Present the RAGFP mission at your next Rotary gathering by downloading and sharing our RAGFP Video I or Video II.

– Order a RAGFP Membership Gift Card for friends or family members online.

We are inspired by your commitment to peacebuilding in 2017.

We look forward to making 2018 an even more amazing year for peace with you!
